How do I install the Shopify app?+
Install Genvoris from the Shopify App Store listing. After install, open the app inside your Shopify admin and click Connect with Genvoris — the OAuth handshake auto-creates an API key, registers webhooks, and approves your portal account.
How do I add the Virtual Try-On button to my product pages?+
In your Shopify admin go to Online Store - Themes - Customize, open a product template, click Add block, and pick Virtual Try-On Button from the Apps section. Save the theme and the widget will appear on every product page using that template. No code edits required.
My customer used a try-on but credits did not deduct+
Credits deduct only after the AI generation succeeds. If the model returns an error or the customer abandons the upload step, no credit is consumed. You can audit per-try-on activity at /dashboard/analytics.
Why does the widget say Locked on my storefront?+
Open your monetization config in the Shopify admin (Apps - Genvoris - Monetization). The widget is locked when the active model requires action — for example, the customer is not subscribed (SUBSCRIPTION model), has 0 credits (CREDITS_WITH_PURCHASE), or has used their monthly quota (FREEMIUM). Switch to Free for All for unrestricted access.
Are customer photos stored anywhere?+
No. Photos are processed in memory by our try-on engine and discarded the moment the result is generated. Only anonymized usage metadata (model used, generation time, success/failure) is logged. Full details in the Privacy Policy.
How do refunds work?+
Unused credits from any pack purchased within the last 30 days can be refunded. Open your billing page and click Request refund on the relevant pack — our team reviews within one business day. See the Refund Policy for the full terms.
I uninstalled the Shopify app — what happens to my data?+
On uninstall, all per-shop config (API key, customer quota state, configured plans) is deleted from the Shopify app database within seconds. Your underlying Genvoris portal account, credit packs, and analytics history are preserved so you can reinstall later without losing data. To request full GDPR/CCPA deletion, email support@genvoris.org.
Can I integrate Genvoris with a non-Shopify store?+
Yes. The widget is a single script tag that drops onto any storefront — WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, or a custom site. See the Integration page for the snippet and domain allowlist setup.
