1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how you use the service.
2. Cookies We Use
Genvoris uses the following categories of cookies:
- Strictly Necessary — Required for the platform to function. These include session tokens managed by Clerk (authentication), CSRF protection tokens, and load-balancer affinity cookies. You cannot opt out of these without losing access to the service.
- Functional — Remember your preferences such as theme (dark/light), last visited dashboard section, and notification dismissals.
- Analytics — Aggregate, anonymised data about page visits and feature usage to help us improve the product. No personally identifiable information is shared with analytics providers. We do not use Google Analytics.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
3. Third-Party Cookies
The following third parties may set cookies on our platform:
- Clerk — session management and authentication tokens.
- Paddle — payment flow session state (only active on billing pages).
Each of these providers operates under their own cookie and privacy policies. We recommend reviewing them if you have concerns.
4. Cookie Duration
- Session cookies — deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies — stored for up to 12 months, then automatically deleted.
5. Managing Cookies
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Deleting authentication cookies will sign you out of the platform. Most browsers allow you to:
- Block all cookies (note: this will break sign-in).
- Block third-party cookies only.
- Delete cookies when the browser is closed.
- Whitelist cookies from specific sites.
Instructions for managing cookies in popular browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
